WELCOME TO THE HOME OF THE BOHEMIAN LUCKY BASTARDS.
WE ARE A TIGHT-KNIT FAMILY BOUND BY PASSION, A BIT OF REBELLION AND A DEEPLY FELT AWARENESS OF THE CONNECTION WITH OUR DOGS, THE PLACES WE CALL OUR HOMES AND ROOTS, AND THE CYCLES OF NATURE.

When you step into our world, you aren’t just a guest—with us, you become part of the family. Our focus for our dogsled tours in Kiruna remains on an intimate, personal approach and a deep connection with nature and our sled dogs.

While we operate as one collective unit, our story is shaped by three equally important parts.

ZBYNEK

The adventures we embark on together as a team, are what I truly love. It is a complex journey to make it all work. Its caring for the dogs, focusing on their nutrition, physical condition, rehabilitation, as well as the mental training, the discipline, the behaviour and the trust. It is all about building strong bonds and exploring our potential, strengths and weaknesses alike, and all the while learning as much as we can.
The one word that captures this all is ́Alchemy ́. There are so many elements that matter, each of it contributing to the richness of being with sleddogs. I invite our guests to share in this experience, on a journey through the wonders of the North, hoping you’ll see the magic just as we do.

EVY

Bohemian Lucky Bastards grew from the belief that there is another way to experience Lapland—one that feels personal, honest, and true to the dogs. While Zbynek devoted himself to building the kennel and developing the team, I focused on creating the foundation that would allow this dream to become reality. Together, our strengths naturally complement each other. People often tell me that I inspire them, though it has never been something I consciously set out to do. I simply try to live with love, curiosity, and a full heart. When life is lived that way, the energy speaks for itself—like sunlight sparkling across fresh snow.

THE DOGS

Our sixteen dogs are far more than a team—they are sixteen unique personalities who fill every day with energy, mischief, determination, and joy. Living with them means celebrating their individual strengths, helping them overcome challenges, and giving each dog the opportunity to develop in its own way. They remind us every day why we chose this life. And when the harnesses come out and they burst with excitement to run through the forests and frozen landscapes of Kiruna, you immediately understand that this is what they were born to do. Sharing that pure enthusiasm with our guests is one of the greatest privileges we know.
